The Ambassador Platform Knowledge Base

March 2026

In March we focused on removing friction, improving key journeys, and making the platform easier to use day to day.

Public community

The sign up experience via TAP Feed is now smoother, faster, and mobile first. Users can continue on web or move into the app.

Post sign up journeys are now stronger. You can filter users and invite them into the next relevant community.

Users can now skip adding a photo, improving completion.

Improved community sign up

Users no longer need to download the app to complete sign up. They can stay on web or move to the app. This reduces friction and improves completion rates.

Live streams
  • Guest speakers can access streams via the dashboard
  • Private streams remain private
  • Ambassadors can view chat during streams
  • Streams can be restored within 48 hours

    Dashboard access for ambassadors

Ambassadors can now access chats and streams via the web dashboard when mobile is not convenient.  Older web entry points are no longer supported, but users are redirected automatically, with their email pre filled for convenience.

    Dashboard improvements

Improved experience for smaller screens. Subtitles added to ambassador videos for easier review before publishing.

    Safeguarding

An admin can now upload in the safeguarding section of the dashboard whitelists of phone numbers, emails, and domains to simplify moderation at scale.

    Mobile app
    • Future students can now mention another user in a chat. Mentioned user will get a notification. It creates a better flow of a conversation and improve user experience.
    • If you want to start communities for users who have a university account (i.e. login can happen only via SSO) our mobile app now supports it.
