How do prospective students start conversations with me on TAP?

How do prospects find my profile?

Admins promote your profile and content through:

• Pop cards on the institution’s website
• Emails sent to prospective students
• Social media posts linking to your profile
• Event promotions (online or in-person)

These channels drive traffic to your Feed (a page on your university's website) and encourage prospects to start conversations. You can ask one of your admins to share the link to your institution's Feed if you'd like to check it out.
What activities might I be involved in on TAP?

As an ambassador, you may:

• Create content about student life and your experience
• Chat with prospects 1-1 or in group chats
• Answer FAQs submitted by admins
• Participate in Streams (live or on-demand online events)

Can I reach out to prospects directly?

Yes — in group chats. If a prospect asks something you can help with in more detail, or seems to need extra support, you can start a 1-1 chat.

To do this:

1. Click the letter icon next to their name.
2. Select ‘Chat’ to start a private conversation.
