How to fix stuck slides during a Stream event

Here are three solutions to ensure your presentation displays correctly:

1. Share the Slideshow Window

• Start your slideshow first.
• Then, go to your video call’s screen sharing settings.
• Select the Slideshow window, not the editing window.

This ensures the conferencing software captures the actual presentation.
2. Use “Browsed by an Individual (Windowed)” Mode in PowerPoint

This keeps the slideshow in a single window that’s easier to share.

Steps:

1. Open PowerPoint.
2. Go to Slide Show > Set Up Slide Show.
3. Under Show type, select “Browsed by an individual (window)”.
4. Start the slideshow — it will now stay in one resizable window.

• Share your entire screen.
• Make sure to minimise sensitive content before doing so.
