Here is a round-up of everything we released across TAP this month. These updates improve communication, engagement, safeguarding, notifications, and the ambassador experience across the platform.
Messaging and chat
• Admins can now message prospects directly through one-to-one chats from the prospect profile, with replies supported on both web and mobile.
• Admin to ambassador chats enable admins to message individual ambassadors or groups for briefings, coordination, and follow-ups.
• Improved prospect-to-ambassador connections now default to the public community when prospects are only using the TAP Feed.
Engagement and re-engagement
• Editable re-engagement emails allow admins to customise the subject line and message before sending.
• FAQ content can now be used in re-engagement campaigns, with email and push notifications linking directly to the selected FAQ.
• New invitation tracking provides visibility of invited, joined, and pending prospects within engagement reporting.
• Enhanced point of engagement tracking now records the specific source, including ambassadors, posts, streams, and group chats.
Safeguarding and spam
• Advanced spam detection analyses both message content and user behaviour to identify and manage suspicious activity automatically.
• Off-platform invite detection helps prevent prospects being directed to services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Snapchat, and Linktree.
Notifications
• Daily digest emails replace frequent unread message notifications, reducing inbox clutter.
• Blocked student conversations no longer generate email notifications.
• What's New introduces in-platform product announcements for admins, group admins, and ambassadors, keeping users informed of the latest updates.
Content and ambassadors
• Ambassadors can now delete their own unpublished posts, giving them more control over content before publication.
• A new language selector on the TAP Feed allows visitors to view the platform in any supported language.
Ambassador App 2.0
• Ambassador App 2.0 has launched, delivering performance improvements and an enhanced ambassador experience.
We are pleased to bring these changes to the product and look forward to seeing how they improve engagement, communication, and community management across TAP.
