The Ambassador Platform Knowledge Base

April 2026

New customer support system

Live chat support is now built directly into the dashboard.
Incoming questions are first handled by AI and then reviewed by a human within 24 hours, so you get accurate answers and any necessary follow-up is scheduled for you automatically.

Ambassador Reporting

• New weekly time-limit reporting, so you can compare allocated versus spent time for each ambassador at a glance.

• Full activity tracking that logs everything your ambassadors do, including time spent and points awarded.

• An improved management section that makes bulk changes faster, including bulk tagging and switching features on or off.

TAP Feed

• We've rolled out a major rebuild of the TAP Feed, now running on the same technology as our web community. It's faster, smoother, mobile-first, and much easier for us to maintain, which means improvements can reach every feed quickly and consistently.

• Instead of loading inside a separate frame, the feed now sits natively within the page for a more integrated, seamless experience that helps drive stronger conversion.

• You may also notice higher content view counts, as the feed now records actual post views rather than only counting clicks as it did before.

Ambassadors

• Simpler peer-to-peer activation: enabling an ambassador for the IDP community used to mean switching on several separate toggles. Now a single P2P toggle does it all, immediately making the ambassador available for chats and able to receive content requests.

Mobile App

• Support chat is now available before login, so anyone having trouble creating an account or signing in can contact support directly through the app instead of resorting to email or a university contact.

• FAQs are now available directly on the mobile app, not just on the TAP Feed.

Public Community

• Now you can see an ambassador's FAQ answers alongside their content posts when you open their profile.

• Conditional tabs: on the web version of Public Community, tabs now appear only when there's content behind them. If a university has no community groups, streams, or content for a given tab, that tab is hidden rather than opening to an empty view - giving users a cleaner, more relevant experience.

Safeguarding

• Blocking is now discreet: when one user blocks another, the block is no longer shown to anyone in group chats, across both web and mobile.

IDP Community

• On-demand streams are now available for IDP, shown on the university page within the IDP widget and in the Streams tab. Before a stream goes live, it's checked to ensure it doesn't direct students to apply to a university outside of IDP.

We're excited to bring these changes to the product and look forward to seeing how they improve your recruitment outcomes and make working with TAP more efficient.
